Food & Wine Pairing

There are seemingly infinite nuances to the art of pairing food and wine.  However, one of my favorite wine blogs, Wine Folly, has done a good job of explaining the basics in a recent post “Getting Started with Food and Wine Paring”.

Even the basics can get a little involved, with the “5 steps” and “9 rules”, so simplify further by focusing on just a single type of wine.  And since there are exceptions to every rule, be sure to experiment.  If the pairing goes bad, at least you drinking wine – which is always a good thing!

August Sports Action

With the Orioles in 1st place, the Olympics starting, and pre-season NFL, August is shaping up to be a good time to come in from the sun and watch some TV.

Our 4 large screen TVs will feature all the best action.  And we will even throw in some discounts like our all-night Happy hour on Mondays and our late-night Happy Hour on Friday and Saturday.  And of course the Purple Power shots for Ravens games. So come in, cool off, and enjoy the action.

Your dermatologist will be pleased.
